Nolan Henry Voris
Nolan Henry Voris, 89, resident of Ramona, Okla. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Delaware, Okla. on Dec. 23, 1929 to Garner and Cora Etta (Robbins) Voris.
Nolan attended schools in Delaware, Okla., and he later met and married the love of his life, Faye Lunsford. Nolan was a very hard worker which became evident in his many fields of employment. He worked in construction, pipelining, welding/ fabrication, and oil/ petroleum. Nolan was employed with the flour mill as well as Don White Oil in Coffeyville, KS. He moved to Catoosa for a more lucrative position in construction building stem walls. Nolan took great pride and enjoyment in raising cattle and farming. He attended A Healing Touch Ministry in Talala, OK regularly. Nolan had a special place in his heart for each and every one of his friends and family members. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Nolan in death are his parents; brothers, John Voris, Ted Voris, Jack Voris, Dennis Voris, Ed Voris, Warren Voris, Carl Voris, Mark Voris; sisters, Fern Jacobs, Annalea Prost, Cloris Lee Tatum; and grandson, Chad Lomax.
Nolan is survived by his wife, Faye of the home; sons, Roger Voris and wife, Janice of Ramona, OK, Jerry Voris and wife, Brenda of Collinsville, OK, Gary of Talala, OK; 6 grandchildren; 8 greatgrandchildren and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 at the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating.
